Dow Dive
Tuesday, February 27th, 2007Sheesh, anybody else watching the massive dive the Dow took today? http://finance.google.com/finance?cid=983582. Bummer.
Doesn’t matter much to me, but it can’t be good.

Since we’ve had some much snow this week, I’ve been staying in and watching a bunch of movies. Here are some:
School for Scoundrels
Funny, a little crude. so-so.
Midnight Run
Well done, funny. worth it.
The Last Waltz
Finally saw this. Great performances. Worth it.
Flags of Our Fathers
Couldn’t finish this one. I read the book, and found the movie to be boring. Read the book.
Downfall
Crazy. Weird. Definitely worth it. But be prepared to be disturbed.
I guess that’s it. See any of these? What did you think?

I haven’t posted to this in a while, so I’ll catch up a little bit. It has been very snowy here for the last couple of weeks, so we’ve been vegetating. Got outside for a little while today (Highbanks Park, see Flickr for photos).
Daytona 500 today, racing is back. I’ve already said I probably won’t spend as much time following NASCAR this year, and instead spend time following Formula One, and spending my time doing other things. (Thinking about a trip to the Indy 500 in 2008. Anyone want to go?)
Holly and I went to the Winds Cafe in Yellow Springs last night for a Valentine’s Day/Anniversary dinner. We had a great meal and a great time. We’re still trying to figure out how we can live in Yellow Springs.
That’s all the catching up I’m going to do tonight. look for more posts into the future. Put me in your RSS reader and add some comments!
